TESC Bargaining Update 8/29/18

August 29, 2018

Hello Classified Staff & Supervisors Bargaining Unit Members

Although we feel very good about our progress thus far we have had some tough times here finalizing the last few articles that remain. The healthy back and forth continues as we strive to find common ground and craft collaborative solutions to the issues at the table. Please stay tuned for further details and please know that the potential exists for us to reach out for further input on priorities. Our hopes remain high and we are holding fast to our predictions of a mid-September wrap-up, followed soon thereafter by a vote for ratification. At this point we have six remaining articles between here and the finish line! We return to the table on September 4th and 7th.

Please keep us in your thoughts and feel free to reach out to us in support for our next Collective Bargaining Agreement!

Hello Classified Staff & Supervisors Bargaining Unit Members!

We have now reached the time where the rubber hits the road and each side is emphasizing their highest priorities. Although we have closed over 80% of the articles, those remaining have become tougher to negotiate and find common ground. We remain steadfast in protecting members’ rights and extending further protections.

We anticipate concluding by mid-September, with a vote of the membership soon to follow.

Please keep us in your thoughts and feel free to reach out to us in support for our next Collective Bargaining Agreement!
